The Southgate Community Players' "Playhouse Summer Series" continues with the tale of four Catholic girls coming of age in 1960s New York in "Catholic School Girls" at 8 p.m. Sept. 12, 13, 19 and 20 at the Corner Playhouse. Tickets are $12.

Rounding out the season is "Who Am I This Time?" a one-act play about a hardware salesman who only comes alive when he plays a character in local theater productions, Oct. 10 and 11 at the playhouse. Tickets are $10.

The Players Guild of Dearborn will put a unique twist on "The Odd Couple" as it presents the neat freak versus slob story with females in the lead roles on Sept. 12-14, 19-21 and 26-28 at the Players Guild Theater, 21730 Madison, Dearborn.

Tickets are $15. To order, visit www.playersguildofdearborn.org or call 1-313-561-8587.

Legendary performers will come to life in two classic stories headed to the Gem Theatre in Detroit.

"Say Goodnight, Gracie," the love story of comedians George Burns and Gracie Allen, will enchant audiences Sept. 9 to Nov. 16.

Frank, Sammy, Joey and Dean are swingin' once again as the popular tribute show "The Rat Pack is Back" visits the Gem Nov. 19 to Jan. 4.

Tickets for both shows range from $25 to $39.50 and go on sale Monday at the Gem box office, all Ticketmaster locations, at www.ticketmaster.com or by calling 1-248-645-6666.

The holiday season will kick off in style as "Irving Berlin's White Christmas" returns to the Fox Theatre Nov. 19 through Dec. 28.

The festive musical tells the story of two showbiz buddies putting on a show at a picturesque Vermont Inn and finding their true loves in the process.

Classic Berlin tunes such as "Sisters," "Count Your Blessings" and the title song are part of the show.

Tickets range from $20 to $100 and are on sale at www.olympiaentertainment.com, the Fox Theatre and Joe Louis Arena box offices and all Ticketmaster locations.

Special rates for groups of 10 or more are available by calling 1-313-471-3099. Special holiday prices of $20, $25 and $50 are available for the Nov. 19 to 26 shows. Children ages 12 and younger receive $5 off for all performances.
